As the presentation wrapped up, the department surprised students with gifts, adding an extra moment of excitement to the visit. The items were donated to the department by Coca-Cola.
Captain Lucarell said visits like this are especially meaningful. “Days like today, getting to give back to the community and connect with students, are some of the things I love most about my job,” he said.
The visit gave students a firsthand look at a career in public service while reinforcing the importance of community partnerships and generosity.

What a wonderful way to celebrate the season, great job to our talented singers for representing our school so well!

Our Art 1 students in Ms. Frank’s class are sharing creativity and kindness this winter! 🎨❄️
Students designed and carved their own images into linoleum blocks, then printed multiple copies to create handmade greeting cards for the residents at Shepherd of the Valley. They made enough so everyone in the home will receive a Winter Greeting card, spreading warmth and cheer through student-made art.
Due to the inclement weather, tonight's Boys and Girls Middle School Basketball games, Girls JV/Varsity Basketball game, LHS Bowling and Robotics will be rescheduled. New dates for these events will be announced soon.
