State of the Schools Meeting
The Liberty Local School District invites the community to its State of the Schools meeting.

As a reminder, all families are required to update their enrollment information annually in Final Forms. Final Forms is designed to serve our district with streamlined registration and communication. If you are not receiving regular updates from your child's school, it is likely that your forms are incomplete or need to be updated.
Currently,
- 28.5% of students in PK-2 are compliant for the 2025-2026 school year.
- 21.6% of students in grades 3-6 are compliant for the 2025-2026 school year.
- 3.6% of students overall are compliant for the 2025-2026 school year.
All families must log in to Final Forms to verify their registration for the 2025-2026 school year for each student. This includes obtaining signatures from both students and families for specific documents.

Hey Leopards! The Sales Tax Holiday is coming! The two-week holiday is intended to provide meaningful savings for families across the state. The sales tax holiday takes place from Fri, Aug. 1, to Thurs, Aug. 14. Shoppers will be able to make qualifying purchases both in-store and online without paying state sales tax, with certain exemptions.

We are excited to announce that the Liberty Local School District will participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) for the 2025-2026 school year. What does this mean for you and your children attending the school(s) identified above? Great news! All enrolled students at Liberty Local School District will be eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no cost to their household throughout the 2025-2026 school year.
All students can participate in these meal programs without needing to complete a Free or Reduced meal application. However, our Leopard families who wish to apply for a waiver of all school fees must complete the Household Information Survey to determine their eligibility for services.

Did You Know... Liberty Local is a Cell Phone-Free District, beginning with the 2025-2026 School Year.
Ohio law requires ALL public school districts, including charter and STEM schools, to have a policy in place to limit or ban cell phone and personal communication device use by students during the school day, with exceptions for emergencies and medical conditions. The goal is to minimize distractions and promote a focused learning environment.

We are deeply saddened to share that our therapy dog, PAWWS, has crossed the rainbow bridge. 🐾
PAWWS brought joy, comfort, and love to everyone she met. She had a special way of making our school feel a little brighter and a lot more like home. Whether she was visiting classrooms or simply sitting beside someone in need, she touched so many lives with her calm and caring presence.
She loved being with her home family, and she truly loved being with her school family, too.

Registration for the Liberty Little Leopards 2025 Football and Cheerleading Season is open. Practices start mid-July. Children entering grades K through 6 are eligible to join, but there is a great need for children in grades K through 2nd for the Bantam team. Last Friday marked not only the last day of school for our students but also the final day of an incredible 33-year journey for our PK-2 Principal, Mr. Mike Palmer.
Mr. Palmer was surprised with a special visit from his wife and son, and showered with heartfelt cards and well wishes from his students — a fitting sendoff for someone who has given so much to our school community.
