A special feature of this year's celebration is the Liberty Township Heritage Tour, a self-guided tour of many of the Township's historic sites and landmarks. Heritage Tour brochures, complete with maps and site information, may be obtained at the Liberty Township Administration Building on Thursday and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., or at participating Heritage Tour locations, including Jimmy's Italian Specialties and Kravitz Deli.
To be eligible for the Heritage Tour prize drawing, completed passports must be submitted either by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17, at the Liberty Township Administration Building, or by 8:55 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, at the Liberty Celebrates the Nation's 250th Birthday event at Churchill Park. Eligible entries will be entered into a drawing for gift cards and other prizes.

• 10:00 p.m. – Event concludes.
The celebration will culminate with one of the Mahoning Valley's finest community fireworks displays beginning at approximately 9:45 p.m., providing a spectacular patriotic finale to the evening.
Admission and parking are free. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy an evening of history, entertainment, fellowship, and patriotism.
Representatives of the Liberty Community and Historical Society will be available throughout the evening to answer questions about the Society and its activities. Membership information will also be available for those interested in supporting the Society's efforts to preserve and promote Liberty Township's history.
