Dear Parents & Guardians:
Liberty Local Schools has submitted our S-EBT file to the Ohio Dept of Jobs and Family Services (ODJFS) who disburses Summer EBT meal benefits to eligible students. Students who currently qualify for free or reduced meals through SNAP, OWF, and Medicare should automatically receive their $120 Summer EBT benefit on or after July 31, 2026.
Our district is only required to submit one file to ODJFS this year, which was opened on April 1st and completed on April 22, 2026. We will not be submitting another file at a later date as we have done in the past. Therefore, if your child is not already qualified due to SNAP, OWF, or Medicaid and you feel you may be eligible for Summer EBT benefits, you must submit a Summer EBT application on the Sunbucks website that can be found at the link below:

Our district has no control over when your child's benefits will be disbursed. Questions regarding payments and eligibility should be directed to ODJFS.
