Last Thursday and Friday, Liberty staff participated in a two-day professional development session with Capturing Kids’ Hearts (CKH). The training focused on building stronger connections within the school community by cultivating relational capacity, improving school culture, and strengthening trust between teachers and students. Educators also explored strategies for creating self-managing classrooms, fostering accountability, and enhancing academic performance, all while being mindful of trauma-informed care.
The program emphasizes the power of relationships in education. As CKH founder Flip Flippen reminds us: “If you have a child’s heart, you have a child’s mind.”
