Shots for Tots, a local non-profit organization known for raising money to purchase bicycles for children at Christmas time through the U.S. Marines Toys For Tots Program, is again giving back to the Liberty Local School District.

The organization donated 21 bikes to some very excited students at the PK-6 school.  During the year, Shots of Tots hosts raffles, golf outings, poker runs, sip and paints, nights at the races, and other fundraising events in order to donate bikes to Toys for Tots.  In the last three years, they have donated more than 750 bikes.

Miss USA Elle Smith Visits Blott PK-6 Miss USA

Students at Blott PK-6 had a very special visitor Wednesday morning! Miss USA Elle Smith stopped to see the elementary students as a part of the “Smile Train Tour.” Liberty was Smith’s third stop; before this morning's visit, she made stops in New York, New Jersey, and will conclude in Columbus. Throughout the tour, Smith has been speaking with students from elementary to high school, sharing her experiences with Smile Train and speaking to students about the power of confidence, giving back, volunteering, advocating for kindness, and much more.

Since 1999, Smile Train (https://www.smiletrain.org/) has strategically partnered with schools and raised over $1M for children with cleft globally. This year, Smile Train is hosting a “Teacher Appreciation Tour” with Miss USA Elle Smith to spread smiles and show teachers and schools their appreciation!

As part of Teacher Appreciation Week, Smile Train provided breakfast to all PK-6 teachers.
