Letter from Dr. Tommelleo: Second Semester/Combining Cohorts

Tommelleo

Students will be returning to school on Monday, January 25, 2021 for a 4 day week. There will no longer be maroon and gold groups, as all students will be combined.  We will also be welcoming back some of our remote learners.

Students will be attending school in-person on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.  Wednesdays will continue to be remote learning. This instructional delivery will be the next phase as we continue to plan for a 5 day return for all students before the end of the year.

Liberty will continue to be diligent in our efforts to maintain 3 to 6 feet social distance.  We will continue to follow COVID-related safety procedures such as daily temperature checks, hand washing and enhanced cleaning and disinfecting. Masks will be required and continue to be a critical component to preventing the risk of COVID.

Data will confirm that following these protocols has and will continue to reduce the spread of the virus, but family support and continuation of following protocols at home are also strongly encouraged. If your child exhibits any COVID related symptoms and/or has a temperature above 100 degrees, please keep your child at home until symptoms are no longer present and/or you have visited a health care provider. We must all continue to be vigilant in keeping our students and staff healthy and safe.
