Liberty Local Schools looks to increase student success through new partnership

Liberty Local Schools has launched a new partnership aimed at increasing student success! Action Team for Partnerships (ATP) is made up of parents, teachers, administrators, and community members who work together to create a welcoming school environment for families.  ATP follows John Hopkins University’s National Network of Partnership Schools research-based approach while working to support student success.

“The goal of the Action Team for Partnership is to increase the engagement of all families and community partners to more purposely align activities and action steps to the district improvement plan,” Andy Tommelleo, Ed.D Superintendent Liberty Local Schools.

Throughout the school year, members of the ATP will meet regularly to develop plans that increase family and community involvement within the schools in an effort to support student achievement and success amongst all PK-12 students.  The group will publicize their plans and activities, evaluate them and then solicit feedback from families and the community to improve their plans.  The group’s next meeting is Tuesday, November 23, 2021.
