This past fall, the Liberty Alumni Association kicked off its capital campaign with Liberty Fall Fest, a day-long arts and crafts festival. Liberty Schools Capital Campaign will eventually fund many different facility improvements within the school system. The group is first focusing their efforts on constructing a marching band shell at Liberty High School's football stadium. A band shell will provide the district's historically talented and reputable music program with the 21st century standard for facilities and prestige that the performing arts deserve.
With a $60 contribution, sponsors will receive an 18” section of seating that will include a nameplate and their name and graduation year. Alumni and current Liberty students are invited to donate and receive a nameplate.. Sponsors who choose to donate $80, will help fund an “Executive Band Director Chair” that will be prominently displayed in the shell acknowledging Mr. Joseph R. Purser as Director of Bands Emeritus, representing a lasting tribute to his dedication, loyalty, and influence to Liberty Schools and its students.
